We helped Domino’s Pizza launch a new promotion with social network site Foursquare. Domino’s Pizza is one of the first major food brands to team up with Foursquare, and the innovative deal sees its most loyal customers being rewarded with a special offer at Domino’s branches.

Domino’s Pizza, the UK’s leading pizza delivery company, is one of the first major food brands to team up with social network site Foursquare, and the innovative deal will see its most loyal customers being rewarded with special offers.

The scheme was launched at Domino’s Pizza in Liverpool where the ‘special Mayor’ receives one free special pizza a week. The offer is being currently being rolled out across the UK.

The Foursquare promotion launch coincided with a major refresh of their website. The Domino’s Pizza refresh was driven by a need to update the creative look and feel of the website, to improve the user experience and overall to uplift sales. 

We focused on ensuring that the site ensures ease of use and purchase speed for customers ordering their favourite pizzas online. Features such as ‘remember last order’ reduce the time taken to complete each order and the ‘pre-order’ tool enables people to use the site at their convenience.

Domino’s Pizza has been working with Vexed Digital to grow their e-commerce sales leading to a stream of activity including the Domino’s Pizza kiosk, the Domino’s Pizza iPhone application resulting in e-commerce sales increasing by 40% (£78.5m) in 2009, reaching almost a third of all sales.
