Maggie's

Maggie's programme of support is designed to give people the tools they need to cope with the major upheaval cancer causes in their lives.

Their online vision is to deliver an extension of their outreach support service as well as information about the centres and programmes they offer to people affected by cancer. 

Case Study: Community Vision

Phase one of www.maggiescentres.org is now live and has provided Maggies with a bespoke CMS to regularly refresh their site and provide comprehensive information on who they are, what they do and the increasing centre locations.

Vexed wanted to ensure that the unique Maggies environment came across within the site and the individual experience of Maggies was communicated simply.

Phase two will be delivered early 2008. The core focus is the development of a community infrastructure to facilitate online support both from Maggie’s professionals and member to member. Plans include secure 1-1 consultations with Maggie’s, scheduled online support groups and fundraising tools which will combine to meet their goal of a pioneering service in the field of cancer care.
