These could be gigs of hundreds, thousands or just a few, in regular venues or in one off locations.

The concept was developed against a background of increasing tout activity and burgeoning secondary sales market that is threatening to exclude true fans. The Owngig philosophy is to champion the fan and support the live music scene regionally and nationally.

Initially focusing on live music the concept can easily be applied to all live performance – comedy, theatre as well as events such as festivals and arts programmes.
